So it was an early start this morning as we caught the 7.25 shuttle to Epcot. From there it was the monorail to the Disney Transport Centre and then the boat to the House of Mouse - The Magic Kingdom.
Really hot today and extremely busy at the park. Problems with both Splash Mountain and Space Mountain meant that we didn't have time to do them before we needed to leave. Will look to do those first when we go back.
Used our fastpasses today on Thunder Mountain which was fabulous.
Went on Pirates of the Carribean and It's a small world - well it has to be done....
I broke a rocket on the Astro Orbiter so didn't get my pilot's licence.
I don't want to be rude about female drivers but Mr J and Mrs J were both passengers at the Speedway Race track - both of us are now severely traumatised...
Went on a few more rides and then made our way back to Epcot to pick up our shuttle - not before going and seeing the Manatees - one of my favorite attractions.....
Complete bun fight for the shuttle home - a lot of very hot and weary travellers who woudn't recognise a queue if it slapped them round the face - despite having had to queue all day.
If you don't get on the 6pm one then it is a wait until 9pm where you have the pleasure of reliving the experience if last night is anything to go by.....
After a couple of cheeky Miller Lites and a shower it is off for something to eat - not travelling too far as our feet have had enough for today.
Went to the Aloha Grill great food and atmosphere - they had a lady hula dancing and a singer playing traditional songs. We were invited to try but played the 'full' card :)
Had to get a taxi home as the rain was torrential.
Sat in the apartment watching the American coverage of the Olympics.
Will blog again soon.
